2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJob Title: Delivery DriverPURPOSE: Responsible for driving delivery vehicles and/or operating truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Adheres to driver safety/compliance regulations, delivers undamaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service to customers. Drives vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds and may tow trailers over 10,000 pounds.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoad or assist with loading and securing products inside the delivery vehicle.Deliver customer orders to specified sites.Manoeuvre vehicles into loading/unloading positions, ensuring proper positioning.Assist customers with unloading materials safely and accurately.Protect products and property during handling.Verify order details, maintain logs of deliveries, including amounts, weights, mileage, and locations.Check items against invoices for accuracy.Act as a customer service liaison, handle concerns, and resolve issues.Maintain cleanliness and appearance of vehicles; perform routine safety checks.Use handheld devices (except while driving) to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.Maintain hours of service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.Perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed.Observe all safety procedures to prevent injuries; attend safety meetings.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED21+ years oldValid driver's license and Class A CDLAt least 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferredPass MVR report and obtain DOT medical cardBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to read and speak EnglishCompetenciesRelationship BuildingTeamworkCustomer FocusConflict ResolutionWork Environment / Physical ActivityWork is performed in a production environment with temperature variations, chemicals, mechanical parts, noise, and dust. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 200 pounds with assistance. Tasks may include climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling.
