Private Client LawyerLocation: SomertonNew opportunity to join a highly reputable and well established firm with a strong presence in the Somerset market who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their growing Wills, Trusts & Tax team.This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a stimulating caseload involving estate planning, trusts, tax, and powers of attorney.You'll deliver tailored legal solutions to individuals and families, with responsibilities including:Drafting and advising on Wills, including complex estate planningCreating and managing lifetime trusts, including overseeing annual tax returnsAdministering estates and trusts with precision and careAdvising on inheritance tax and capital tax planning strategiesManaging a portfolio of clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney (both financial and health-related)Staying up to date with legal, tax, and compliance developments in private client lawProviding empathetic, high-quality client service and building strong professional networksCandidate RequirementsSolid experience in private client law, particularly in wills, trusts, and tax planningA strong working knowledge of inheritance tax and capital taxesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional serviceConfidence managing a varied and complex caseloadA proactive attitude toward business development and relationship buildingFor more information about this role please contact Hannah Somers at Chadwick Nott.
