The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and analytical, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:Prepare monthly management accounts across areas of responsibility with accountability for monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Work alongside Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast, and prior year. Ensure timely, accurate reporting is distributed to relevant budget holders.Support the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads and FP&A team.Support the FP&A team by providing financial insight for commercial decisions. Ensure accuracy of data provided.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems.Support ERP and BI system enhancements and ensure data integrity across platforms.Automate processes and streamline workflows to improve efficiency.Ensure strong internal controls.Work alongside Group Reporting Manager to ensure accounting standards are followed appropriately.Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.Assist with tax and statutory reporting where applicable.Lead and mentor direct reports. Set clear objectives and regularly discuss performance.Who we’re looking for:Strong communication skills.
