About The Role Join CCS & Help Shape the Future of Renewable Energy Job Purpose Carry out electrical installations, such as ventilation systems, lighting, Solar PV System, and heating controls in line with all company procedures and MCS requirements across a range of clients and contracts including housing association & private customers. Key Responsibilities Maintain job time frames and quality standards of the company by working efficiently and safely with a high quality finish. Deliver a high quality service to the client and their customers, having respect for all individuals and meeting the challenges presented. Carry out all works strictly in line with company procedures and all MCS standards within the industry: code of practice and 18th Edition regulations. Perform repairs and minor works as required for installation call backs or remedial works. Attend breakdowns and respond to urgent calls. Install all products and materials to the highest quality possible and in line with all manufacturer guidelines. Order parts and manage own jobs to ensure fast resolution to the client’s issue or fault. Communicate with residents and CCS clients regarding the works being undertaken. Ensure all PPE is present and always correct. Collaborate with the project manager and assist with maintaining the company quality manual and QMS standards. Calibrate and maintain all equipment in good working order. Keep all appointments and keep CCS tenants/clients informed. Carry out duties as required by any senior manager or staff representing such manager. Stay up to date with all codes of practice involving your given discipline. Report variations to any works and update the administration department with changes to requirements on site. Engage and attend all staff briefings and company functions. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Coordinate with other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organising mechanical works and building works on any given installation. Produce a certificate or job sheet for all work, any other reports or records required. Submit a valid and accurate time sheet, delivery notes, expenses, and other documentation weekly. Skills & Qualifications General competence in the given trade. NVQ 2 or equivalent in Electrical Systems. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. BPEC qualification or equivalent in installation of Solar PV preferred. Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge of Mobile PDA. Experience Required Minimum of 3 years experience preferred. Experience working within the Social Housing sector on installation projects and maintenance contracts. Experience working directly with residents and clients. A clean UK driving licence and DBS check will be required.
