About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join our dedicated team on a 12‑month FTC. This newly created role is central to our anti‑social behaviour (ASB) response, managing a varied caseload including the most complex and serious incidents, while providing vital support to customers, colleagues and external stakeholders. Operating within a hybrid model, you’ll play a key role in delivering our ASB service, ensuring cases are handled promptly, professionally, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of ASB cases, including complex and high‑risk incidents Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners to deliver positive community outcomes Utilise all available tools and enforcement methods to resolve ASB cases swiftly and effectively Prepare legal notices, witness statements and case documentation; represent SettleParadigm in court when required Deliver a customer‑focused ASB service in line with our policies and procedures Collaborate with internal teams such as Housing and Rent Recovery to ensure seamless case handling and resolution Attend multi‑agency meetings and represent SettleParadigm in discussions with local authorities, police and other key partners What We’re Looking For Must Haves Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a complex ASB caseload Confidence when dealing with challenging behaviour Experience preparing case reports and legal documentation Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law and its application to tenancy and ASB management Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders Nice To Haves Experience within the housing sector, particularly in ASB management Previous involvement in multi‑agency meetings and partnership working For Added Brilliance Practical, problem‑solving approach to ASB issues Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering positive community outcomes Benefits Annual salary: £40,661 per annum 25 days holiday, increasing with service, plus Christmas closure and buy options Generous pension scheme – up to 9.5% employer contribution via salary sacrifice Family‑friendly leave: Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave Health cash plan – claim up to £1,800 for everyday health costs (plus free kids’ cover) Life cover and income protection Flexible working – hybrid options, modern offices, free parking & EV charging 30+ qualified Mental Health First Aiders available to support Car leasing via salary sacrifice (for permanent colleagues subject to conditions) Funded training, qualifications & apprenticeships 3 paid volunteering days in the local communities Peer‑recognition rewards platform Paid professional subscription (one per year) Working Hours 37 hours per week Monday – Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30 Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
