Responsibilities Perform a full range of inspections, diagnoses, maintenance and repair procedures on our vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment. Work on a range of vehicles, supplying your own personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy vehicles. Provide assistance using specialist tooling and equipment provided for common use by everyone within the workshop. Qualifications Success requires: fully qualified at least IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair (or equivalent). Proven experience with a wide range of vehicles such as LCV/LGv. Full manual driving licence; LGV preferred with trailer experience. Working Hours & Salary Permanent contract at Thurrock Workshop. Salary: £44,345 per annum with potential to earn up to £70k including overtime. Weekend supplement for Saturday (£52.10 per attendance). Full‑time 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00‑14:30, week 2: 10:30‑19:00). Required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays with a weekday day off.
