Field laboratory technician

This is a permanent opportunity

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a global environmental testing laboratory based in Coventry. This person will be responsible collecting environmental samples from different locations of UK and transport them back to Coventry site and conduct sample analysis.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for conducting environmental sampling and monitoring activities across the UK, supporting our diverse customer base from private households to landfill sites.
collecting water dust samples for testing
Conduct field testing using various testing method such as temperature checking and PH analysis
Responsible for accurately recording field data in line with quality standards
Transport samples safely to the laboratory with define regulations of temperature control requirements
Follow safety procedures while driving when travelling

Requirements

Valid UK driving license is essential ( company van will be provided)
This role will require you to travel to different places of UK on a daily basis so needs to be comfortable in driving and has previous experience in a driving role
Full training will be provided in this role so you do not need to have scientific background or previous experience.
However ability to follow strict regulations and attention to detail is essential
Previous experience in working in a similar filed laboratory technician role is desired
Excellent communication and written skills

Note: Working hours are Monday to Friday 8-4PM but can be flexible due to nature of the role. Overtime will be paid if you work outside of 08 hours a day period. Company van will be also provided
