We are seeking a skilled, flexible and self motivated individual to take up a full time, 12 Month fixed-term contract in a team created to provide an outstanding wellbeing experience for our employees.Our Wellbeing Hub provides a one-stop shop for 'all things wellbeing'. It provides our employees with quick and easy access to an array of support including mental health assessments, Trauma Risk Management (TRiM), and physiotherapy.We are looking for somebody with specialist knowledge and work experience in mental health assessment, trauma and complex mental health conditions and people management. Applicants should be able to complete risk assessments and sign posting to relevant pathways. Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, a team player and able to complete administrative tasks such as report writing and use of all Microsoft packages. Furthermore, stakeholder management and project management skills are essential.Main duties of the jobTo support the Wellbeing Hub Manager and team to ensure that the Trust fulfils its' duties to provide appropriate wellbeing services to meet the needs of colleagues.The post holder will provide assessment, triage and ongoing support of referrals, and when necessary, signposting to appropriate services for employees experiencing psychological and/or mental health difficulties. You would also be responsible for maintaining relationships with external partners and the constant review and management of internal process and procedure.Applicants should be eager to provide effective advice and clinical support with the determination to make a difference to the lives of others, and be motivated and confident in supporting the team to make a difference to the lives of their colleagues, enhancing their experience and positively influencing employee satisfaction.About usOption to join NHS pension schemeA minimum 27 days' holiday each year, increasing after 5 years' service.Personal and professional development and training opportunities.Salary Sacrifice schemes for cars or push bikes.Access to occupational health and counselling services.Access to NHS discounts, offering NHS employees a range of money-saving deals.Other than in exceptional circumstances, the starting salary for staff new to the NHS will be the bottom point of the band to which they have been appointed.Job responsibilitiesTo support the Wellbeing Hub Manager and the Team in the implementation of the Trusts Employee Wellbeing Strategy.To work autonomously, confidently and safely whilst utilising clinical support/supervision and acknowledging the expertise/experience of others when required.Provide clinical guidance and support to administration team as required.To practice within the triage, assessment referral criteria and associated clinical frameworks for the service and ensure that clinical records are maintained, up to date and stored appropriately in accordance with professional and Trust standardsManage own caseload of employees referred in for mental health/ emotional wellbeing support.Responsible for the clinical appropriateness and signatory authorisation of external referrals, whereby an employee is approved to receive specialist treatment externally.Responsible for procurement of new external psychological suppliers, including the vetting and signing service level agreements (SLA).To monitor, evaluate and modify interventions in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention(s). Liaising with Wellbeing Hub Manager on capturing, analysing and reporting on effectiveness of different pathwaysFor full list, please see job descriptionPerson SpecificationQualificationsRegistered Mental Health Nurse/Dip Social Work/Registered Occupational Therapist/Psychology graduate currently working in mental health field at assistant level.Leading/ first line management qualification or willing to work towards.Post-basic professional qualifications relative to role.KnowledgeSpecialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge or relevant practical experienceAdult and child safeguarding procedures.Fundamentals of clinical risk assessment.Clinical expertise around different mental ill health presentationsExperienceExperience of working with psychological trauma/complex mental health conditions.Change management, organisation and prioritisation of workload.Leading or supporting colleagues in a workplace settingPrimary care experienceSkillsAnalytical skills to assist in identifying/highlighting unmet need.
