About the RoleAre you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to ensure young people have the best opportunity to live the lives that they deserve?We are now looking to hire 3 full time Care & Support Workers on day shifts.This vacancy is for 39 hours per week on a rota basis, at our Footprints home in rural Stodmarsh, Canterbury. We are looking for an individual who really wants to enhance the lives of young people with physical and complex health needs.Please note the following–·we are unable to offer sponsorship or a switch of sponsorship for this role·previous applicants need not apply·you must hold a full UK driving licence, be a driver and be willing to drive our company vehicles.As a Care and Support Worker at Footprints you'll:Improve the health and wellbeing and provide all forms of personal care to the young people who use our services.Ensure all aspects of the young people’s personal and emotional care are fully met.Maximise their experiences and developmental opportunities and encourage them to reach their full potential by promoting their independence.Assist in arranging trips, outings and holidays and accompanying the young people when required.Support and participate in all areas of the running of the home, keeping it clean and tidy and adhering to Health and Safety requirements.As a Strode Park Foundation colleague you'll get comprehensive support from day one and receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills.Split Shift - 6.30am – 10am then 3pm – 8pmLate 3pm – 8pmEarly 6.30am – 10amNights 7.30pm – 8amFootprints provides care on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.
