We are looking for a Clinical Team Manager to jointly lead our service for children and young people in the Wrexham area. Details Posted: 02 December 2025 Pay scheme: Agenda for change Band: Band 7 Salary: £48,527 to £55,532 a year per annum, pro rata Contract: Permanent Working pattern: Part‑time Reference number: 050‑NMR836‑1225 Job locations: Wrexham Child Health Centre, Croesnewydd Road, Wrexham, LL13 7TD Responsibilities Jointly lead the Children’s Learning Disability service alongside clinical and administrative leads. Oversee day‑to‑day operational management with a focus on efficiency, sustainability and high quality care. Develop and maintain an open learning culture that values the expertise of all team members. Build and sustain positive partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders. Provide supervision, support and performance development for team members. Ensure the service meets national and regional pathways for learning disability and neurodivergence. Qualifications NMC registered Learning Disabilities/Children’s/Mental Health or nurse with suitable community nursing qualifications. Experience in clinical leadership and management or a diploma‑level qualification. Continued professional and management development. Eligible to practise under the Mental Health Measure Wales 2010 (including mental health nursing, social work, psychology). Experience Management experience at band 6 or above. Child Protection/Safeguarding training at Level 3. Evidence of mentoring. Evidence of financial management skills and ability. Desirable Evidence of mentoring. Evidence of financial management skills and ability. Eligible to practise under the Mental Health Measure Wales 2010. Welsh language proficiency. Additional experience in children's services or related specialities. Additional information Disclosure and Barring Service check required as per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975. Certificate of Sponsorship accepted for Skilled Worker category applicants. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
