RME Technicians help keep equipment available and operating, reduce downtime, and support the safe working environment.ResponsibilitiesProactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipmentCarry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouseUse the latest tools to maximize equipment effectivenessUphold all health and safety policies and practicesSupport the development and progression of on-site apprenticesWork on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sitesA day in the lifeRME Technicians are based on-site to respond quickly to machinery issues. You’ll perform planned preventative maintenance to site equipment to ensure safe operation. You’ll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigate issues, implement solutions, and suggest long-term improvements. You’ll work alongside senior colleagues and liaise with contractors as needed, across various shifts to support 24/7 site operations.QualificationsBasic QualificationsServed a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subjectRelevant experience as a qualified engineerRelevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenanceAdvanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writingFull UK Driving LicensePreferred QualificationsExperience in condition-based monitoringExperience working with print and apply machinesExperience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systemsEEO statement and additional corporate information were present in the original description but have been omitted here to focus on role-specific content. #J-18808-Ljbffr
