Your role centres on active risk and flow management, including correlated risk exposures and the deployment of e-hedging models that optimise execution and reduce portfolio VaR. You will be expected to generate consistent trading PNL through the strategic use of eFX engines, targeting improvements in spread capture, hit ratios, and flow velocity.You will contribute to the expansion of the global eFX franchise by increasing traded volumes and enhancing monetisation efficiency, with performance tracked against flow growth targets and risk-adjusted returns. Your trading decisions will be supported by real‑time analytics and systematic feedback loops, enabling dynamic adjustments to pricing and hedging strategies.A key part of your remit involves working closely with Systematic Quants to customise pricing and distribution engines for high‑value client segments. You will be accountable for driving latency improvements, quote acceptance rates, and pricing precision, with direct impact on client flow share and retention.This is a front‑office trading role with clear accountability for market performance, engine profitability, and risk metrics. Success will be measured through trading KPIs including VaR utilisation, PNL attribution, engine hit ratios, and client flow monetisation.What will your day look like?Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Using data and analytics to optimise hedging, pricing, client configurations, engage sales and principle risk traders to drive consistent competitive pricing in growing both eFX franchise flows and overall revenue.Work closely with eFICC team in designing, developing, reviewing and implementing models in response to customer needs, proactively identifying opportunities.Work closely with Sales teams and voice traders to ensure consistent, competitive and timely pricing to internal and external customers.Collaboration with Sales to grow “e‑sales” promoting client self‑services in electronic trading.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partnerships, stakeholders and platforms.What will you bring?Extensive FX knowledge, with especially within eFX space.Detailed understanding of electronic markets and products – inclusive of technologies to enhance capabilities especially Spot, Forwards, NDF’s.Strong quantitative background with the ability to conduct analysis on large amounts of market tick data and client flow for post trade analysis of model performance.Proven experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.Extensive knowledge of FX regulatory framework requirements and Global FX Code of Conduct, with sound technical knowledge and experience.Demonstrate ANZ Values and Behaviours: Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellent.So why join us?From the moment you join ANZ, you'll be doing meaningful work that will shape a world where people and communities thrive.But it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact. you'll feel it too.
