Construction Delivery Manager (CDM) – Heat SinkApply for this role at Mactech Energy Group.Base pay range: Direct message the job poster from Mactech Energy Group.Job Purpose / OverviewMain Tasks: Safety, Records, Coordination.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of Health Safety and Environment during construction activities in their allocated area(s), in accordance with the NNB HPC Construction Phase Plan.Undertake and record safety and/or assurance inspections that support the project KPIs. The tool at HPC for this is INSIGHT.Be aware of the HPC Drumbeat for the series of Daily and Weekly meetings.Organise and conduct daily planning meetings called Plan of the Day (PLOD's) with the Contractor Partners, to ensure that the coordination and short term planning is in line with the overall delivery schedule and outputs are recorded and issues escalated.Supports the CDL and SCDM in the running of the Plan of the Weeks (PLOW's).Supports the CDL in attending all appropriate Coordination Meetings for their areas of works and contracts as required.Supports the CDL in attending all Weekly, monthly MDT Meetings for their area of works and contracts as required.Supports the CDL in attending all Weekly Construction meetings for their area of works and contracts, using and updating the Issues & Action Tracker created for all of the NI Works, as required.Support the T1 contract partners in the delivery of their scope to enable efficient delivery of their sections of works. Mediate with multiple Tier 1's in any of your allocated areas/contracts.Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns, along with program restraints. Follow up by taking appropriate and proportionate action (e.g., issue communications, call meetings) to avoid the cessation of works. This includes but is not limited to review of documents, assurance audits, etc.Monitor works on site with Continued Surveillance, record findings in your Construction Daily Site Log(s) (DSL), using the Quality Control For Construction tool QCFC, and capturing this on the Tough Pad issued, ensuring information is reported up through the organisation to the Construction Delivery Lead & Senior Construction Delivery Manager. Photographs of working activities should be taken and placed in the DSL, along with Photographs of the Works Authorisation Form, Temporary Access Certificate, Permits and POWRA. Check all are in date and valid. See Surveillance Guideline. Escalate any issues/concerns via detailed reports. Fieldview and QCFC training will be required.Proactively communicate/co-ordinate with site functions (H&S, quality, surveillance, commercial, project controls, logistics) and other Construction Delivery Managers/Leads, to maintain good communication links, and ensure activity is well and timely reported. This will also include regular attendance at Daily Activity Briefings (DAB's), Pre-Start Briefings, POWRA and supporting the delivery of key messages to the contractor's organisation, along with attendance at the delivery of any major Toolbox Talk or Specific Safety Brief.Responsible for reviewing and accepting Contract Partner RAMs, Lift Plans etc. using Teamcenter, specially looking to ensure work scope requirements are clearly identified in the submissions, hazards are defined and mitigated against. Review of other documents may be required. Calls upon NNB SME to gather any specialist help to review and identify necessary control measures associated with such RAMs or Documents, to ensure the work can be executed safely.Assist Tier 1 Partners in the production and validation of RAM's Addendums. Use Docusign for signatures.Reviews and signs Work Authorisation Forms (WAF's) to give approval for Work Authorisation on all work areas under his/her control. Approves to give "go ahead" before final processing of WAF by Permit to Work (PTW) office. Monitors life cycle of WAF's in their areas and assists the PTW office on the allocation of Primary or Secondary WAF's. See Presentation. See Building & Work Platform Coordination Work Instruction.Assist the Tier 1's in the production of Hand Over Certificates and associated Temporary Access Certificates (TAC's). An Interface Management Document (IMD) will be required as an appendices of the TAC, this consists of a brief outline of the scope and a RACI. RACI stands for "Responsible, Accountable, Consulted & Informed" and is a simple, effective means for defining project roles and responsibilities, providing a comprehensive chart of who is responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed every step of the way. Use Docusign (Apply to NNB IT Team to activate) to acquire signatures for both H/O's and TAC's.Ensure that the Construction Team Internal Pre-Work Check Sheet is followed prior to any work commencing and at the start of physical activities if the field. Use of this Check Sheet will assist in compliant delivery.Working with the CDL & SCDM, ensure that the Tier 1 Contractor Partners are collating Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR's), in a systematic way and in the appropriate format. This will result in an accepted End of Erection Status Report (EESR).Ensure that the Tier 1 Contractor is complying with all ITP activities in the field and that all Surveillance Opportunity Notification Information Management System (SONIMS) notifications are being booked and adhered to by them. This can be checked at the PLOD's.Assist the CDL & SCDM in the production of evidence to complete the Delivery Work Packs (DWP's) at T-3. The DWP's associated with your work areas can be found on SWITCH, using the DWP procedure Rev 6 and the PowerPoint presentation.Contributes to the "LIVE" Construction Daily Report (to be produced and Link Required) via the production of the DSL's.Contributes to the "Live" Works Area Information Sheets, ensuring on a weekly basis that they are up to date and relevant to current activities and associated documents and individuals.Manage Engineering Change in the field, owning RFI's, FCR's and NCR's on both the outgoing CCIS System and the new system which is to be SWITCH and UPDATE.
