A well-established national charity is seeking a compassionate and motivated Substance Misuse Nurse to join their specialist addictions clinic in Tunbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, structured service where you can make a real and lasting impact on people’s lives.
This role would suit an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse or a Registered Nurse looking to move into the addictions field, with full training and development provided.
The Role
Working within a multidisciplinary clinic environment, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including:
Completing comprehensive physical and mental health assessments
Providing clinical advice, harm reduction support, and health promotion
Supporting service users with co-existing mental health needs
Signposting and liaising with primary and secondary healthcare services
Developing therapeutic relationships to support recovery and long-term wellbeingAbout You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
Experience within drug and alcohol services or strong transferable nursing experience
Sound knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions
Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions
A genuine interest in substance misuse treatment and recoveryPrevious experience in addiction services is not essential. Candidates who can demonstrate their motivation for this field and highlight relevant transferable skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary up to £43,400 per annum
Sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
