Main duties of the job Our team delivers high-quality evidence-based care to people to support their sexual health needs. You'll be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team dedicated to keeping people in Kent and Medway safe and well, now and in later life, by providing contraception, treatment for sexually-transmitted infections, and advice and support to maintain healthy relationships. You'll provide sound clinical judgement and leadership to support our team to safely deliver patient‑centred care, and consistently monitor quality and progress in a challenging but rewarding environment. This could be an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship, BTEC or equivalent international qualification in healthcare or able to demonstrate equivalent level of experience Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C/ 4-9 or equivalent in English and Maths) Experience Recent experience of healthcare/ working as a health care assistant gained through education, work experience or previous employment. Have a Care Certificate or commit to development Knowledge and Skills Sound communication skills in order to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing. You will fully understand the role and remit of a health care worker. Knowledge of up to date clinical practice by using up‑to‑date skills and adhering to evidence‑based procedures and clinical effectiveness frameworks. Be able to be able to use IT systems and databases.
