An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Nursing Associate to join the Endoscopy Team at Scarborough. We are a small supportive team who strives to give the best care to all patients attending for procedures at Scarborough and Bridlington Endoscopy. We offer a thorough training package, involving internal and external training, and a supportive buddy to guide you through the first 6‑12 months within the Endoscopy Unit. The Nursing Associate will work across all areas of the department—from completing pre‑assessment and admissions of patients, to assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and from recovering patients to ensuring a full discharge is completed post‑procedure. Working within the Trust's values, policies and guidelines, the role also requires a small on‑call commitment to enable acutely ill patients to be treated overnight, or on weekends when the unit is closed.
