Role Overview Carlisle Support Services seeks enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to support our prestigious clients. The position covers holidays and sickness across various locations. Shift times typically include 6 am‑3 pm, 3 pm‑10 pm/11 pm with some sites having midnight finishes. It offers flexibility for full‑time or part‑time work. Location: Macclesfield/Crewe area (access to own vehicle preferred for greater flexibility). Hours: Varying shifts covering 6 am‑3 pm, 3 pm‑11 pm/midnight. Pay: £14.30 per hour. Responsibilities Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities: Ensure colleague safety, providing a sense of assurance for all. Provide a smart, visible, proactive, and engaging security presence and deterrent. Manage conflict, taking control of incidents. Control access and egress, conducting patrols to deter crime. Engage proactively and professionally with the public. Be aware of hazards and incidents, and respond appropriately. Provide guidance, information, and direct customers as first point of contact. Follow safety and security processes and procedures. Work as part of a team, building strong relationships. Ideal Candidate At least 18 years old (legal requirement). Holder of an SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence. 5 years of checkable work and address history. Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance. Friendly, approachable, and professional. Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job. Ideally some experience in a security environment or customer‑facing role. Ability to interact positively with clients and customers. Successful candidates will provide original documentation for vetting (passport, driving licence, recent utility bill, HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, birth certificate, or a valid share code).
