We’re supporting a well-established manufacturer in New Milton who specialise in world-class filtration solutions. They’re looking for a QC Inspector to join their friendly, hardworking quality team and help ensure every product meets the high standards their customers expect.

You will be responsible to carry out daily quality control checks across the site. This includes monitoring production processes, checking products meet required specifications, and keeping accurate records of all quality-related data.

On a daily basis you’ll be doing the following –

·      Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed

·      Ensure adherence to documented process controls at all times

·      Carrying out systems and production line audits.

·      Control of measuring equipment calibration

·      Highlighting any issues to production, technical or production engineering.

Salary: £33,000pa

Location: New Milton

Hours: Full-time, permanent

What do you need?

You’ll already have experience using manual measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges etc.) and you’ll feel confident carrying out visual inspections. You’ll bring a steady, methodical approach and a real commitment to quality.

You’ll also need:

Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail

Strong understanding of basic inspection techniques

Solid awareness of quality processes and manufacturing H&S

Ability to read and record dimensional data accurately
Nice to have (but not essential):

ONC/OND Engineering

Experience with CMMs (bonus if you can create simple programs)

Knowledge of GD&T

Exposure to ISO9001 environments
