We are committed to building a team of curious, conscious individuals dedicated to showing up, standing together, and being the difference between a good day and a great day.We are currently searching for a Supervisor to join our team in LivingstonAs a Supervisor at Belstaff you will spend the majority of your time on the shop floor working with your team to drive sales by offering exemplary customer service to clients. As well as being a role model, you will support team training and development in order to achieve a high level of service across the store, maintain excellent store standards and consistently meet and exceed sales targets.We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:Demonstrating to the team that the customer is the main focus at all times, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations in all circumstancesDelivering training to the team so that they have confidence to share stories about our brand, products and servicesHosting regular team meetings, supporting communication between the team, store management, other Belstaff stores and Head OfficeMotivating the team and maintaining a dynamic and positive atmosphereStaying up to date on local events, current affairs and business and market updates, and cascading these to the team in order to promote meaningful conversation with clientsDriving to achieve and exceed individual and store targetsUnderstanding, reporting and monitoring key store KPIs, and responding commerciallyDemonstrating and encouraging the team to exhibit an entrepreneurial flair for attracting new clients and maintaining relationships with our existing client baseMaximising shop floor stock levels and promoting key products, ensuring that the team do the sameAssisting in planning and coordinating instore promotional eventsMaintaining visual merchandising and housekeeping standardsCompleting administrative tasks accurately and in a timely mannerPlanning team tasks and ensuring they are achievedUnderstanding staff scheduling to achieve appropriate coverage for the store, and stepping up to support the management team with this when neededBeing aware of and following all Company rules and regulations, HSE legislation, Store Security, cash handling and key holding procedures and ensuring they are adhered to at all timesLiaising with the Store Manager on day to day decisions, and taking accountability for any made in their absence when necessaryReducing opportunity for stock loss by following company procedures and training the team to do the sameCoordinating and participating in stock audits and counts on the shop floor and back of houseUpdating the Store Manager on all notable decision makingWe are looking for someone who has:A well rounded background in retailing premium/ luxury goods (ideally apparel) and delivering exceptional customer serviceDemonstrable experience of exceeding sales targets and increasing profitabilitySome experience of managing a team at a supervisory levelCommercial awareness and active interest in the luxury/ premium retail marketBalanced strengths in sales, customer service and operational excellenceConfidence using the Microsoft Office SuiteWe are looking for someone who is:Inspired by working for BelstaffComfortable performing a leadership role, demonstrating by example and enjoys bringing out the best in their team to deliver outstanding resultsSelf motivated, driven by achieving targets and going above and beyondPersonable and excellent and building rapport and successful working relationshipsOrganised, detail oriented and numerateCalm under pressure and able to consistently deliver high standardsWhere to from here?We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
