The Role: We are seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. You will be required to deliver modules during weekdays, evenings and weekends. What you’ll be doing: As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver management‑related modules, develop comprehensive course materials, undertake all learning, teaching and assessment responsibilities, and keep up‑to‑date with latest developments. Responsibilities All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met. Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate. Using a variety of teaching methods and materials. Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Working towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough, organised student records. Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at GEDU Services by 2x.
