This Financial Controller job will see you take ownership of end-to-end finance operations, ensuring robust reporting, compliance and controls are in place. You will work closely with Senior leadership and have extensive autonomy and a voice to drive change and support with key decisions across the business with the ability to quickly add value. You will also play a key role in supporting business performance, delivering commercial insight, and helping drive efficiencies across the UK business. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day finance operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking and asset management. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare and review monthly management accounts, journals, schedules, and reconciliations. Oversee payroll and pensions. Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements including VAT and Corporation Tax. Act as the key contact for auditors and tax advisors. Implement and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide financial insight to support operational and commercial decisions. Partner with non-finance colleagues to support business performance. Drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong background in financial management and reporting. Experience of working within the Manufacturing Sector. Proven technical accounting and tax knowledge. Advanced Excel skills. Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret and explain complex data. Analytical, detail-focused, and solutions-driven. Strong communicator and natural leader with a collaborative approach. Comfortable in a hands‑on Financial Controller job covering both operational and strategic responsibilities. What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
