Lightsource bp (LSbp) was fully acquired by bp in 2024. Summary We are looking for a dynamic, hands‑on Senior HSE Advisor to Provide HSE support to Lightsource bp in global performance monitoring, auditing, management system maintenance (HSMS), and advanced data analytics. This role combines operational safety support with data analysis for leadership decision‑making. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with QA/QC of KPI datasets (e.g., Action Tracking, RIF) for monthly and quarterly executive packages. Support of historical HSE data collation and co‑ordination of site visits for LSBP employees. Lead external BSI ISO 14001 & 45001 audits; act as Lead Auditor for internal audits. Maintain and update the HSE Management System (HSMS) in line with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards. Support global alignment of the HSMS in the creation and communication of system changes to regions and monitor post‑update compliance, and act as point of contact with IT for HSMS support. Support global HSE training and initiatives roll‑out and provide regional office safety assurance. Conduct DSE assessments and provide adhoc HSE advice to regions. Offer HSE guidance and support to the regional offices as required – including reviewing facilities services and HSE reports raised by colleagues Liaise with and manage HSE tool providers such as IFS, Skanwear, Human Focus, ENHESA, and SAP. Process HSE-related invoices in SAP and complete financial tracking for HSE programmes. Support in creation of business risk assessments including office site visits, off sites, stress etc HSE Data Analytics Lead creation of HSE data & analytics reports for the global business and analyse trends to identify real cause‑and‑effect relationships vs correlations. Utilise Microsoft Power Query to ingest data from the organisation’s data lake for modelling. Build visual dashboards and reports in Power BI optimised with Row Level Security (RLS) for targeted insights. Explore use of predictive analysis, machine learning and AI to improve HSE performance. Knowledge & Experience Strong working knowledge of HSE Management systems, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001, audits, and legislative frameworks. Strong working knowledge of Power bi/ Tableau and AI. The applicant must be proficient to lead on this. 2‑3 years of experience working within reporting clients such as Power BI or Tableau performing data query, transformation and visualization Working within HSE function of a company with certified HSE Minimum 5 years in HSE within a certified HSMS environment, plus minimum 7 years overall HSE experience. Qualifications ISO 45001 / 14001 Lead Auditor and NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
