The Role As the Fan Growth Manager within the Marketing function, you will translate Formula E’s fan growth strategy into integrated, high‑impact campaigns that attract, convert and retain fans. You will own the end‑to‑end fan growth engine, blending creativity, commercial thinking and analytical insight to deliver measurable, audience‑led results across the entire fan journey. Customer Acquisition and Conversion: You will lead the development of first‑party data acquisition campaigns to grow and enrich our fan database, while also optimising commercial fan journeys across ticketing, content and broadcast to drive conversion and maximise lifetime value. Furthermore, you will continuously refine the full fan journey, from discovery and consideration to loyalty and advocacy. Go‑to‑Market Planning and Execution: You will create go‑to‑market plans that translate strategy into clear, actionable campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels. You will manage the creative and media briefing process, ensuring all campaigns are data‑led, insight‑driven and on‑brand. Collaboration is key as you work with regional teams and partners to localise and scale growth initiatives effectively across markets. Fan Engagement and Community Growth: You will develop and deliver initiatives that strengthen community, deepen connection and inspire advocacy among global audiences. This means partnering with Content, Social and CRM teams to bring fans closer to the sport through creative, interactive and participatory experiences. Data, Insights & Optimisation: You will use fan data, behavioural insights and performance analytics to inform strategy and uncover growth opportunities, championing a culture of experimentation by leading A/B testing and optimisation for fan acquisition and engagement. Finally, you’ll partner with CRM and Data teams to refine segmentation and improve targeting precision. What we’re looking for in you? Experience required: You need proven experience in performance marketing, growth or audience development, ideally within sports, entertainment or consumer‑facing industries and a track record of driving audience growth and conversion through multi‑channel campaigns. A strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, analytics tools and the customer journey is essential. You must be comfortable owning and optimising acquisition strategies across multiple channels and markets. Skills & Attributes: You must be commercially minded with a clear focus on growth and ROI, as well as being analytical and data‑led, using insight to inform action. We need someone who is hands‑on and proactive, with the energy to turn ideas into execution, and a collaborative communicator, able to influence and inspire across teams and partners. Personal Qualities: You should be a natural collaborator who thrives in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment, able to prioritise initiatives based on impact and outcomes, focusing effort where it drives the greatest value. As a creative thinker, you must be passionate about building community and fan connection, and importantly, you need to be adaptable and resilient, balancing strategic focus with delivery under pressure.
