This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with a clinical pharmacy background. The successful candidate will lead and deliver a high-quality clinical service to the expanding neonatal unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital, with opportunities for cross-site collaboration. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work in other areas of Women’s and Child Health, including general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology.Main Duties of the JobLead the expansion of the high-dependency neonatal unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital.Ensure optimal pharmaceutical care delivery.Develop neonatal transitional care services across all sites.Assist with the ongoing optimisation of the Epic Electronic Healthcare System in neonatology.Provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services in areas across Women’s and Child Health.Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist Women’s and Children’s.Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and other clinical meetings.Engage in clinical audit, risk management, and clinical guideline development.Provide supervision, education, and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.About UsKing’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching Trusts, with a turnover of £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year, and more than 15,000 staff across South East London.
