Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a committed Cleaning Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our large all-through school site. Working closely with the Site Manager/Head Caretaker, you will oversee the cleaning team and ensure high standards are consistently met in line with Health & Safety requirements.The position is full time, 35 hrs pw and term time only.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support cleaning staff, ensuring quality and timekeeping.Allocate work areas and monitor cleaning standards.Provide induction and training for new staff and maintain records.Manage stock levels of materials and equipment.Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning products (COSHH).Conduct regular site inspections and report any damageAbout youFriendly, reliable and organised.Confident in leading a team.Knowledgeable about cleaning techniques and Health & Safety requirements.Able to work independently and use initiative.Basic IT skills and good communication essential.What we offer· Generous local government pension scheme from 23% employer contributions.· Employee Rewards scheme – High Street discounts, Staff Wellbeing centre.We believe in hiring for potential and this means that we value individuals for the knowledge skills and experience that they have developed in every aspect of their lives.
