Job Summary:

We are looking for math tutors who can help students. Sessions will be at the student's home in Surrey, White Rock, Tsawwassen, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Delta, or Maple Ridge.

We match our tutors and students together carefully. This is a 'feel good' job. Students gain confidence and get closer to achieving their academic goals and future careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
  • Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, and assignments
  • Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
  • Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
  • Offering feedback on progress to students' parents
