Ideally you will have experience either with mental health problems, or children and young people.> This is a part time post, working within an established and dynamic AHP team, and wider MDT. This is an exciting opportunity to help us develop the SaLT service for people with mental health conditions, and particularly helping to shape the support for those with Autism. With a focus on developing your own expert skills in communication. You will have great support within the service as well as links to the wider community of SaLTs across the trust as we work together to establish an innovative SaLT service. We would encourage visits for anyone interested in this post. Main duties of the job You will be an experienced speech and language therapist, with dysphagia competencies and be able to work effectively and independently within multi-disciplinary settings. We encourage joint MDT working, personal development and research interests, please ring for a chat about what we can offer you. Support will be provided by the SLT forum, Principal SLT and AHP leads, as well as the older peoples services team.
