Position Overview As a Homeless Outreach Volunteer, you will play a vital role in serving hot meals and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness. Your support helps provide nourishment, dignity, and connection to the community. Responsibilities Prepare and serve hot meals to individuals in need. Distribute essential items such as hygiene products, clothing, and blankets. Engage with clients in a respectful and compassionate manner. Help maintain a clean and organized serving area. Assist in collecting feedback to improve outreach services. Qualifications Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude. Ability to work well in a team environment. Good communication skills. Physical ability to lift and carry food and supplies as needed. Commitment Volunteers are needed on a fortnightly basis on a Saturday evening to support our outreach efforts.
