Pay rates: £90-110 per day

Cover People would love to hear from Support Workers looking for a full time role with more work life balance Currently, we have an exciting position to make a difference by supporting a secondary aged child with SEND and challenging behaviours across their timetable in a mainstream secondary school in Rochdale.

Key Responsibilities:

Mentor on a 1:1 basis to provide academic, social and emotional support
Liaise directly with the SENDCo & Assistant SENDCo to ensure behaviour plans are being successfully implemented
Navigate around challenges particularly with behaviour
Promote self-esteem and independence through consistent support
Build rapport with departments, pastoral officers and SLT to ensure the highest possible level of support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract
