Responsibilities Neonatal Care Day to day care of the inpatients on the postnatal ward Attendance at high risk deliveries/neonatal resuscitations Antenatal counselling for parents admitted in preterm labour Entering data & generating discharge summaries on the BadgerNet database system Attendance at neonatal follow-up clinics i.e. jaundice clinic Care of postnatal babies General Paediatrics Day to day care of the inpatients of ward 3 Providing emergency care to sick children Reviewing and seeing acute referrals at both the Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville sites Outpatient clinic Giving advice or opinions to other health professionals Non-clinical Work Ensuring the timely dictation/completion of clinic letters and discharges from the ward PPE Requirements PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.
