Equans Embedded Energy operates multiple customer sites with large-scale embedded energy capacity across the UK, providing specialist management of onsite generation for industrial processes and the ability to export to the Grid. We combine multiple technologies to meet our customers’ specific needs, and provide design, build, operate and maintenance services. Our skills and expertise can help industrial businesses to achieve their carbon reduction goals. We are experts in many technologies, including combined heat and power (CHP), biomass, and energy from waste. By locating generation on customers’ sites we provide our customers with industry‑leading safety management, reduced energy costs and carbon footprint, and assured energy security for their operational needs. Key activities Operation and maintenance of HTHW boilers and 11kV electrical generating plant Mechanical maintenance of pumps, valves, water systems Management of LV/HV distribution systems and safety document control systems Use of IT monitoring systems Willingness to undertake LV/HV AP accreditation training Adhere to Permit to Work System Maintain health and safety documentation Timely closure of PPMs and reactive jobs Understands supply contracts Write and apply risk assessments and method statements Issue Permits to Work C&G Electrical Theory & Installation C&G Test & Inspection 2391 Fault‑finding and practical skills Electrical generation (essential) Large boiler plant Confined spaces (ideal or willing to train) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems What can we offer you 25 days annual leave (+ public holidays) Life Cover equivalent to 2x times annual salary Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers Cycle to work scheme 2 corporate social responsibility days per year Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalised support programmes Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme Who are we?
