OverviewRole - Laboratory Product Test Engineer - Electrical SafetyLocation - BuckinghamshireHours - Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) with flexible working hoursSalary - Competitive (DOE)Benefits - Pension: 3% employee / 5% employer, Life assurance (2 x salary if not in the pension scheme, 6 x salary if in the pension scheme), Retail discount vouchers, paid time off to volunteer, Training available to various levels and roles and wellbeing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesComplete electrical safety evaluations for clientsAssess technical processes and documents to required standardsManage projectsProvide project updates to both management and clientsComplete and review test reportsEnsure projects are completed to a high standard while keeping to set timescalesAttend customer calls and meetingsProvide technical support where requiredConduct evaluations with necessary quality systems and accreditation requirementsThe PersonExperience in product safety testingExperience working in an ISO17025 accredited laboratoryKnowledge and experience in safety critical function design of electrical productsExperience in one or more electrical safety standard e.g. IEC/EN60335/62368/60730Knowledge and understanding of different certification processesExperienced producing test reports for customersAble to fault find down to component levelImportant InformationWe endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
