Teaching & Learning Assistant (Heron Cross Primary School) Post start date: January 2026. Fixed term until 31/12/2026. Actual salary: £18,751 per annum. Heron Cross Primary School is a creative and joyful primary school where children are at the centre of all that we do. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, hardworking and committed Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our professional, friendly staff. The role will initially be based within Early Years. A Head Teacher who is driven to provide the very best education for the children. A supportive happy atmosphere in the workplace. Support staff across all facets of school life, who are knowledgeable, loyal, work hard, and support pupils and parents alike. Dedicated teaching staff who are committed to providing the best possible education for all pupils. Enthusiastic, well‑behaved and respectful pupils. Supportive and appreciative parents with a strong sense of community spirit. All candidates must have completed a common core programme for working with children and be at the national occupational standards for child care. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A DBS check at enhanced level will be required.
