OverviewThe Community Therapy Team for Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch are really pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Stroke and Neuro Occupational Therapist and / or Stroke and Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team. There are 37.5 hours a week available, and we will consider full and part time applications. The Neuro part of the team are expanding into East Dorset, and this role will be required to cover this area. The successful candidate will gain knowledge and experience alongside a range of colleagues, within a mutually supportive team. They will benefit from regular in-service training, and support through supervision and annual Professional Development Reviews, and contribute to the training of more junior staff. You will be required to carry a clinical caseload of patients with neuro health conditions, ensuring that patients benefit from high quality, evidence based interventions, which you will deliver and record according to professional standards and legal requirements.Additional InformationThis is an ideal opportunity if you have clinical interest in neurology, and a strong motivation to develop skills and expertise and provide patient centred, evidenced based therapy.Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
