I am looking for an Occupational Health Technician, who will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality occupational health services. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of health surveillance assessments, administering health and well-being initiatives, and contributing to the smooth operation of my client's occupational health programs. Key Responsibilities Conduct health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and health questionnaires. Assist in the delivery of health promotion and education programs. Support the Occupational Health Nurses and Physicians in the provision of a comprehensive occupational health service. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all medical interventions. Ensure that all equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and properly stored. Stay up-to-date with current best practices This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident individual to work alongside a multidisciplinary occupational health team on-site at the busy dockyard in Devonport, Plymouth. You will be self-motivated and have a proactive approach to your role, prioritising and managing your own workload. There is no recognised professional qualification for this role however, suitable backgrounds include: Health Care Assistant; Fitness Instructor; Ambulance EMT; Military Medic; Offshore Medic, etc. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and 7.30am to 2.45pm on Friday.
