Specialist Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist – Women and Children Services We are recruiting a specialist paediatric cardiac physiologist for the Women and Children services at NHS Ayrshire & Arran. Key Information Fixed‑term post, 15 months Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 18:30 over 4 days Full‑time: 36 hours per week (effective 1 April 2026) On‑call: 24‑hour on‑call service expected (when qualified/experienced) PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check required Responsibilities Provision of high‑quality paediatric cardiac physiology services across the Women and Children services. Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call service. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at the RHC. Qualifications Degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent. Relevant experience in paediatric cardiac physiology. Committed to continuous professional development.
