Area Account Manager at Alliance Healthcare Join our team to help drive sales and build strong relationships across the North West. This role focuses on maximising sales and profit while delivering outstanding account management for existing and new customers. Responsibilities Account Development & Territory Planning: construct and maintain an effective journey plan for territory management; analyse existing and prospect customers; monitor competitor activity and report findings to the Head of Region. Sales Management: prepare comprehensively for customer calls to achieve targeted sales and profit levels; evaluate customer needs and financial data to tailor your approach. Administration: ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks; maintain company equipment to high standards; communicate effectively across all company functions to support territory plans. Relationship Building: develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders; collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and share market insights. Essential Skills High standard of communication, both verbal and written Proven ability to develop customer relationships and win new business Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities Numerate and proficient in IT Results‑oriented with a strong commercial focus Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Skills In-depth experience in negotiations within a complex trading environment Financial awareness and commercial acumen Experience Required Structured field sales experience Location North West Salary £33,000-£35,000 + Functional Bonus + Company Car Benefits Competitive salary, bonuses, company car and a comprehensive benefits package.
