Herschel Medical Centre is seeking a Salaried GP to join our caring, hard working and friendly team. The position offers the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive environment as part of large MDT that will support your ongoing professional development. Main duties of the job We would welcome applicants looking for a full time or part time position at our practice consisting of the following: Routine clinical sessions including telephone and face to face appointments Duty GP sessions Minimal home visits Weekly clinical meeting for professional development Opportunity to develop areas of interest About us Herschel Medical Centre is a large dynamic practice based in central Slough proving care for just over 18,000 patients. The practice strives to provide the best quality of care to our patients and a supportive environment for our team. We are a training practice and pride ourselves on ongoing education and learning opportunities for our team. As well as a strong multidisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals, the practice has a robust administrative support system who strive to provide the best service to our diverse patient population. Job responsibilities To provide full range of NHS General Medical Service to all patients registered at Herschel Medical Centre. Telephone, face to face and electronic consultations. Provide support to colleagues and assist with learning. Attend practice meetings as required. Compliance with practice policies Effectively manage own time and resources. Qualifications Cited on Medical Performers List Appropriate post‑graduate Qualification Excellent Clinical Knowledge Competent user of EMIS Web Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
