Flexzo Teach – Cover Supervisor Flexzo Teach is a recruitment & SCR platform that enables schools to book educators directly for cover, long‑term supply and temporary/permanent roles without a traditional agency model. We work with pilot schools in areas such as Reading and are building local talent pools to expand service to more areas. By pre‑registering, you allow us to reach schools in your area and present you directly as a qualified Cover Supervisor. About the Role We’re looking for Cover Supervisors who want: Flexible work with local schools Direct bookings; schools contact you via the platform Control over your time and pay; set availability and rates Responsibilities Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher Deliver pre‑prepared work and keep pupils on task Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures Communicate clearly with school staff before and after cover What You Get You set your own rates on your profile You control your availability, choose when and where you work Direct school relationships, no agency middle‑man managing your bookings More local opportunities over time as we grow the number of schools in your area One simple compliance process (SCR) shared with multiple schools via the platform Qualifications Experience working as a Cover Supervisor (or similar classroom‑based role) Confident classroom management Strong communication skills with staff and students Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and up‑to‑date safeguarding awareness Required Skills Experience working as a Cover Supervisor (or similar classroom‑based role) Confident classroom management Strong communication skills with staff and students Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and up‑to‑date safeguarding awareness Preferred Skills Experience across different key stages and subjects Work history in a range of school types (e.g. mainstream, academies, PRUs) Flexibility to work across nearby areas Pay range and compensation package You set your own day rate/hourly rate within the Flexzo Teach platform but you will speak with an advisor who can consult you on the best rate for your experience and qualifications.
