The Position We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Chartered Commercial Property Manager to manage and enhance a portfolio of commercial properties. The successful candidate will bring a chartered qualification (e.g., MRICS) and proven expertise in commercial property management, with the ability to deliver strong asset performance and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, predominantly retail but also including office and industrial assets. Develop strategies to maximize asset value, rental income and occupancy. Prepare and manage property service charge budgets. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety and lease obligations. Negotiate lease renewals, rent reviews and service contracts on behalf of clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and service providers. Advise clients on market trends, asset performance and investment opportunities. Ensure statutory compliance with health & safety, fire regulations and environmental obligations. Mentor and support junior property management staff where applicable. Qualifications and Experience Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent) is essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial property management. Strong understanding of commercial leases, property law and valuation principles. Proven financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting. Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Client‑focused with excellent interpersonal skills. Detail‑oriented with a proactive, solutions‑driven approach. Leadership and team management experience desirable.
