Are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional with a passion for teaching? A highly regarded college in Northampton is looking for a dedicated Electrical Installation Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation of electricians.

The Role:

As an Electrical Installation Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students across a range of levels. You will support learners in developing the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and industry understanding required for success in the electrical trade. The role will involve:

  1. Delivering engaging lessons in line with industry standards
  2. Teaching a mix of practical workshop sessions and theory-based classroom learning
  3. Assessing and providing feedback on students' work to support their progress
  4. Encouraging and inspiring students to achieve their full potential

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced electrician who is passionate about training the next generation. While a teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or Cert Ed) is desirable, we welcome applications from industry professionals who are willing to work towards their teaching qualification. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Relevant Electrical Installation qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations
  • A passion for mentoring and supporting students
  • Great communication skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
