TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic, community-driven Primary School in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, who are seeking an inspiring Year 4 Teacher to join their team starting January 2026 on an ongoing basis and potentially leading to a permanent contract for the right Teacher.

The Role

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan, deliver and assess engaging, creative lessons that bring the KS2 curriculum to life.
✅ Foster a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
✅ Track pupil progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate success.
✅ Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive learning experience.
✅ Inspire curiosity, confidence and a genuine love of learning in your pupils.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Key Stage 2

Is passionate about inspiring and supporting every learner

Has excellent classroom management and communication skills

Brings creativity, enthusiasm and adaptability to their teaching

Can work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents

Is available for the full duration of this maternity cover contract
