We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Complex Care Team for Tri-Borough based in London.

This is a full-time role that offers some hybrid working.

Work completed in this team is mostly complex moving and handling, assessments for major adaptations, and low-level equipment provision.

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Occupational Therapist
  • Triaging referral into the OT service
  • Giving information and advice to service users/other professionals
  • Signposting referrals
  • Responding to queries – supported by admin team + manager
  • Highlighting high-risk cases
  • Duty visits where required
  • Will need to hold a small caseload
Requirements of this Senior Occupational Therapist role
  • Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Record of high performance in successfully delivering a customer-focused service to demanding targets and objectives.
  • Understanding and experience of working with vulnerable adults within a care environment
  • Sound, practical understanding of relevant legislation (such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act), policies and processes necessary to deliver complex and multiple services to vulnerable adults
  • Competent in the use of case management and document management systems with an understanding and acceptance of how this benefits the efficiency, effectiveness, and safety of the service
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with a creative, flexible, and sensitive approach that delivers personalised and user-led outcomes-based solutions.
