We offer flexible working arrangements, competitive salaries and benefits, and support for training, further education, and career development.Job Purpose:Reporting to the O&M Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services on Vestas wind turbines, with a preference for experience on V80 models. Your role is crucial in ensuring turbine performance, availability, and safety standards are maintained.Key Responsibilities:Conduct scheduled maintenance following manufacturer's guidelines.Fault-find, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic assemblies, and major components.Perform proactive repairs or replacements to prevent turbine downtime.Adhere to health and safety requirements, including the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR).Maintain high safety standards on-site.Participate in a weekend on-call rota for turbine fault response.Manage local spare parts and consumable stock.Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients for efficient operations and reporting.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:Proven experience in the wind energy industry, especially with Vestas turbines, preferably V80 models.Deep knowledge of wind turbine technology, maintenance, and safety regulations.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in fast-paced environments.High physical fitness and ability to work in challenging conditions.Full UK driving license.This role is based in the United Kingdom, Scotland - Scottish Borders, Duns.Galetech Group and Adamas are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
