Support Practitioner – Cornerstone – Blairgowrie Looking for a new flexible job that offers high job satisfaction? If you are caring, patient, flexible and have a good sense of humour, we have a great opportunity to join our fabulous #TeamEden in Blairgowrie on a relief basis. The relief contracts give you flexibility; you tell us when you’re available and we’ll arrange shifts to fit. Shift patterns include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepovers. The Role You’ll be joining a small, friendly team supporting an incredible gentleman who has Autism and lives in his own home. As a relief colleague, you’ll step in to ensure we keep providing excellent care and support during staff annual leave, training or absence. You will support him with all aspects of daily living: cooking and meal planning, housework, finances, prompts with medication, shopping. You will also be enthusiastic and creative about supporting him with hobbies and interests, including exploring outdoors, walking and driving in his car. About You You don’t need prior experience or qualifications to start your career with us. We recruit on values and transferable skills. We have our own Training Academy that will give you all the practical skills you need and will fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees. What we’ll need you to bring A caring attitude and approach Good communication and listening skills A positive approach to learning Confidence to lone work Good team working An understanding of the importance of following routines and guidelines Confidence in the use of computers It would be great if you also have Knowledge of Autism A full clean driving licence Sound interesting?
