This school is looking for a passionate and nurturing Nursery Assistant to join their vibrant and friendly team. Duties as a Nursery Assistant: Assist in delivering a high-quality early years education program in a nurturing environment Support children’s learning through play, interaction, and exploration Help to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children Encourage children to develop their social, emotional, and physical skills Assist with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nap times, and personal care Work alongside other nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of the setting Observe and report on children's progress and development Support children with special educational needs, where appropriate Ideal Nursery Assistant: Experience working with young children, ideally in an early years setting A patient, caring, and positive attitude as a Nursery Assistant Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team A passion for working with children and helping them reach their potential A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, is desirable but not essential Why Step Teachers?
