Do you have experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer with good mechanical and electrical fault finding skills? Are you looking for a days based role, off the tools where you will work with the next generation of engineers?
This is your chance to join an industry-leading training provider based in Newcastle, renowned for delivering world-class training to engineers across the North East. With a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, they create an exceptional learning environment for aspiring engineers to develop their skills.
As a Mechatronics Trainer, you'll deliver courses covering mechanical systems, electrical maintenance, and PLC fault-finding. You'll use your expertise to guide learners through practical training and equip them with the skills to excel in the industry.
The role includes:
- Teaching apprentices and engineers from manufacturing companies
- Delivering modules in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance
- Practical and theoretical learning
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
- Teaching is done over 4 days
The person:
- Have a multi skilled maintenance engineering background
- Ideally have a HNC but NVQ level 3 will be considered
- Have had exposure to PLC fault finding
- Good all-round mechanical and electrical skills
- Want to move into a trainer role
