Senior Process Safety Engineer

Location: Cornwall
Salary: Circa £65,000 + 10% Bonus + £8,000 Relocation Support

A leading and rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in Cornwall is looking to appoint a Senior Process Safety Engineer as part of its continued growth and significant site investment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Process Safety professional to join a well-established organisation that is committed to developing its people, modernising its facilities, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

The Role

As Senior Process Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing safety, compliance, and integrity of a complex manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and developing process safety programmes across the site

* Conducting risk assessments, HAZOP, LOPA and safety audits

* Supporting COMAH compliance and regulatory requirements

* Identifying and driving process safety improvements

* Providing expert advice and coaching to engineering and operational teams

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in Process Safety Engineering within a manufacturing, chemical, or COMAH-regulated environment

* Strong working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and process safety tools

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to influence and challenge across all levels of the organisation

* Relevant degree in Engineering, Process Safety or similar discipline (preferred)
