HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Salary: £43,900 Location: Wakefield Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Shifts: Weds - Sat day shift We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy fleet maintenance workshop in Wakefield. You’ll be working on a range of HGVs – mainly Scania – as well as various trailers which will include Fridge Trailers. The workshop is fully equipped with 9 bays, vehicle lifts, pits and a full MOT lane, providing everything our HGV Technicians need to do the job safely and efficiently. The Role Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and trailers Diagnose and rectify faults using the latest diagnostic equipment Work as part of a skilled team of HGV Technicians ensuring vehicles are maintained to VOSA standards Complete all paperwork accurately and on time Shift Pattern Days: Wednesday to Saturday 6am - 5:45pm Both options are permanent roles with stable hours and great earning potential.
