About the Role As a Deputy Home Manager you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising and coaching colleagues to provide a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues. Responsibilities Provide specialist nursing support and advice beyond statutory and regulatory requirements. Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence. Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver an exceptional, compassionate service. Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and respond appropriately. Attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training in associated areas. Seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken. Qualifications Valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice. Background in person-centred care planning within a care home. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, keep meaningful records and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
